Creative Collaboration Via YouTube

YouTube is the resource for simple how-to videos, and real entertainment, made by real people with no long commercials (compared to cable television). YouTube is my main source of entertainment, from DIY crafts, thrift store hauls, furniture facelifts, just to name a few. I gravitate towards my hobbies, and watch people to share the same interest.

I’ve been in close contact with fellow Beauty YouTuber Msdebramaye for the past year… If you’re not familiar with Msdebramaye, you can check out her YouTube Channel HERE. If you like clear, understandable, coherent, open reviews, and tutorials on make-up and beauty, Msdebramaye is definitely for you! I’ve collaborated with Debramaye and have hit record.

I’m huge on signs. When I get some sort of indirect sign or signal from the universe, I capitalize on it. Something I’ve been trusting fate with as I’m getting older. Yes, it sounds crazy, but I’ve noticed signs, and at times I didn’t take advantage of it. I’ve gotten a huge sign from a fellow YouTuber I’ve met online. After purely contacting her about something so simple, now has bummeranged back to me to asking for her help in styling her wedding!!! Its something in my eyes has come with purpose, to prepare me for something challenging, as well as creative and stimulating for me to try…..So I’ve decided to hit record, and film my collaboration with Msdebramaye in preparation to her wedding day!

Check out my YouTube Channel HERE.
Please stay tuned as I plan to share a whole LOT of stuff I’m passionate about! If you like what you see on my blog, and want more of my crafts, motherhood tips,  household organization, and just celebrating life’s simple joys thumbs up, like, and subscribe!!!
My entire Journey To 30, consists of quite a few things…And I believe YouTube is a tiny part of it. I’ve done quite a ton of research and played around with iMovie, enough to understand it. I love the challenge that it brings, and love what YouTube is all about, so I plan to be apart of this golden era of online video. Since my first video, its something I can’t stop thinking about. So I plan to NOT stop working for it.
Here’s my formula that I’ve been following all year…
Find three hobbies you love:
One to make you happy,
one to keep you in shape,
and one to be creative.

Snapchat Review

Like there’s already enough social media platforms to be on…I’ve been on Snapchat for the past month. The entire month of July. I wanted to give it a fair try and really immerse myself with the app. To be honest, I’m quite fond of it. It’s basically Twitter and Instagram LIVE, in real time. No pre-decided photos, no fancy fancy filters, just the raw moment that captures bits and pieces of your day. I’ve mentioned it a few times on my twitter, and maybe once or twice on Instagram, incase you missed anything…

For those of you who don’t know what Snapchat is, its a fun messaging application for sharing moments. You can take a photo or a video, add a caption or doodle, and send it to a friend or add it to your Story to share with some or all of your friends. Friends can view Snaps for up to 10 seconds, and then it disappears.

Here’s a snippet of one of my stories earlier this month. I went thrifting for new (or you could say ‘old’) clothes due to my shrinking size (Yay! 25lbs Down!). With these quick video clips, you can capture exactly what’s going on that very moment, no “carefully,” picked out photos taken from an SLR or photos a friend took of you last week. Right, then and there moments. You can also add a a filter (a few options), geotags or for me, I like adding in small text. You can get really creative and capture an entire sequence of things your currently doing, all throughout the day!

It’s a great way for socials to share their everyday lives with these tiny clips called Stories. It’s your Story. Especially if you’re a YouTube vlogger who posts daily, Snapchat is a great way for your followers to continually see the upcoming future footage of the vlog ahead!

Are you on Snapchat?! What are your thoughts and feelings on it? I must add, it was definitely something to get used to.. Search YouTube on How To Use SnapChat. LOL! (I did!)

Add me on SnapChat (tiffanymaca)! It may convince me to start vlogging.
