Dimple Records – Broadway

Hi guys! Welcome back! So, it’s definietly been  a w h i l e  since I’ve been on this platform to share more of my tidbits of everyday life happenings, crafts, DIYs, and such. BIG changes have been happening, career wise, and also with growing chapters in marriage, adulthood and parenting. ALL of these topics are in the works to share with you readers this upcoming year!!

Once again, I’ve felt the creative urge to create, and share, which lead me to here. My safe place, and tiny corner of the internet to share some of my most favorite things, and another Sacramento happening that the family and I love to visit. Dimple Records.

As some of you fellow readers may know, the family and I love music. LOVE LOVE music, where, it’s needed everywhere time and day. Even when we sleep. No joke. The kids to this day, sleep to bossa nova every night. It’s how the husband and I trained them to sleep when they were babies. Yes. bossa nova. On weekends, when the family and I feel like exploring the city, we usually check out Yelp on local business that mean a lot to the city.

Dimple Records delivers some great entertainment from movies and music right along Broadway. What used to be an old Tower Records, now became Dimples. The atmosphere and the concept remains the same just like Tower Records does with the Dimple’s touch where you can buy and sell items fast.

Address:

2500 16th St.

Sacramento, CA 95818

(Land Park)

With awesome hours from 10AM to 11PM, Dimple Records continues to give off the classic feel of music discovery without looking at a screen. From our favorites like Tower Records, to today’s music/entertainment retailers such as Rasputin Music, Amoeba Music and so forth, you can’t get the same feeling of buying music and video media at a Target/Best Buy/ or Frys Electronics. You just can’t.

What are you favorite places to shop for music and media? And please don’t say Amazon or Target. I’m talking about a place where you can walk in, and breathe in that media/used smelly scent, of secondhand music, and vinyl.

If you know of *that* smell. You and I are best friends. (Sending digital hugs and high-fives if you totally know what I’m saying!)

Stay tuned of an upcoming post, on new chapters. New Years changes, mile-stones, and why I’ve given up on making new years resolutions. Stay tuned!
