Nothing instantly energizes a beautiful home when filling it up beautiful indoor plants. Besides thrifting, I love going to HomeDepot or a local nursery and picking up a few cool greens to add to my living space.
Every morning when I come downstairs, I immediately feel refreshed seeing my healthy greenery nesting perfectly around my home. They give good energy, purify the air and according to the rules of feng shui, they sharpen focus and improve your health. (Amen to that!!)
My husband also works from home, and is 99.8% home all week, without leaving. I honestly, love the man for that, because I don’t have to worry about our packages getting stolen. But as for the occasional leave in the afternoon for coffee or lunch, he’s usually home. With a high-pressure job in tech (he’s a front end web developer), he’s glued to the screen in his office. I wanted to make sure my husband gets clean and fresh air to help himself, and our family at our best!!
Fun Facts about indoor plants:

My current favorite plant is the Fiddle Leaf Fig-Ficus Lyrata
You’ve all probably have seen this plant so many times on design blogs, Pinterest, and magazines. I’ve been searching high and low for this baby! After frequent visits to HomeDepot, I finally spotted one for $24.99! This majestic specimen is a huge trend right now!!! Lush and sculptural, they make for excellent eye candy in photographs of some of the most beautiful interiors you see all around the internet!!
Since moving into a new home, I’ve been dying to have plants up even before putting up art and picture frames on the wall. I was craving it so bad, I even expressed to my younger brother I wanted plants, and plant stands for my 30th birthday.
…And so my wish came true, my brother delivered with my birthday wish with this Ikea bamboo wood, and white plant stand.

I love having plants in my home! It gives a little bit of that outdoor feeling when we are hard at work for hours (for my husbands core-purpose) and also brings that wonderful airy feel of good energy all around!
